Cone Johnson

UX Designer

Originally working as a designer and art director in the printing industry, Cone jumped from ad agency work into online media and web projects. Starting as a loud-and-bossy project manager on a training system for PepsiCo Restaurants International (now YUM), she eventually progressed through the alphabet soup of job titles, including producer, design manager, user experience consultant, interaction designer and information architect. Along the way, no matter the title, the task at hand is solving problems. Clients include: American Airlines, American HomePatient, AVG, Bank of America, Charter Communications, Continental Airlines, Flexjet by Bombardier, Go RVing, HP, JCPenney, SuperValu, Ulta Beauty, UnitedHealthCare (StudentResources) and Verizon.

When not problem solving, Cone is involved in the local community volunteering for several professional organizations: Refresh Dallas, TEDxSMU, UXPA, DalMob, DSVC and IxDA plus cultural institutions like: Meadows Museum of Art at SMU, 29 Pieces non-profit arts organization, the Creative Arts Center of Dallas and LaReunion Texas artists-in-residency program.
